Perched along Atlanta's busy North Avenue, this 3-story build needed a heavy dose of charm and functionality. Good bones and a sizeable footprint allowed us to add a moderate addition onto only 2 levels of the home while gaining valuable function at the interior. We were able to reorient the main level and create a playroom for the children as well as an adult oasis by way of a light-filled sunroom complete with a reading swing hung from the ceiling. At the basement we completely overhauled the layout and established a true one-bedroom apartment fit with private entry as well as walk-out access to the yard via french doors. Details such as the paver patio and wood pergola are the finishing touches that now set his home apart.
